Year 2 have completed their PE unit of Team Building. They were able to explain why teams may have been more successful than others, thinking carefully about effective tactics. Our ⭐️ Star Learner ⭐️ bands are supporting pupils’ understanding of what they have done well.

Our KS2 children had a fab morning trying out Flag Football. They enjoyed participating in many activities that were lead by the pupils at Thomas Adams. It was great to see so many children engaged and having fun. We can’t wait to try it out at Longlands 🏈 #MMAT

Student spotlight to Quinn in Y3 who started Tiny Tigers last year. He went on to win the Jay Howlett trophy and asked to join the Market Drayton Tigers U8. He has gone from strength to strength since the team were put together and was awarded the 'Man of the match' this week. πŸ†

Miss Holding was very impressed with how engaged all the children from Saplings were today during their Gymnastics PE lesson. They focused on using creative ways to travel on their chosen equipment, using low and high body movements. #MMAT

Massive well done to our newly formed U11 Girls Football Team. They braved the wind and rain to play a fair matched game against Whittington. Both teams showed great resilience and sportsmanship. Longlands came away winners and celebrated with a hot chocolate. ⚽️ #MMAT
