Another apathy by the national media 2 Govt of Odisha. State govt has taken decisions much prior to the decisions taken by the center. But these efforts hv not bn reporting in the national media. It's totally one eyed now. They r simply following the centr govt briefing.

As on 9th April 2020, there are 2,56,919 taxpayers registered under GST in the State of Odisha, assigned to both Central Tax Authorities and State Tax Authorities. Out of these, 1,08,457 are migrated taxpayers and 1,48,462 are newly registered taxpayers since 1st July 2017
