I had a fantastic flight this morning with Kenmore Air from Victoria #yyj to Friday Harbor. With the Sydney to Anacortes ferry suspended indefinitely this is a super service. It saved hours of driving and ferry line ups and I got to enjoy these views. A+++ experience, thank you!

Really excited that this paper is published! We used historical kelp surveys from 1912 to assess century-long trends in kelp along the whole California coast. Key result? Otter recovery has helped kelp forests survive #historicalecology #oceanoptimism
