Today would’ve been my grandma’s 100th birthday. Her name was Emelina Moore & she was 3rd generation Irish-Argentine. She died when I was 7, so I remember little of her, but she’s the driving force behind one of the main characters of my novel. Storytelling keeps people alive. 🤍

"After more than 100 yrs, plenty of added sugar, & growing consumer desire for “clean caffeine,” something companies are calling yerba mate is finally on shelves near you. But in this land of individualism and germophobia, the real thing will simply never catch on." Loved this!

"Schultz says Obama found time to read because he sees reading as necessary, and he makes it a priority on his schedule. 'He considered [reading] part of being a good leader, part of being a good president, part of being a good father, a good husband, and a good man.'"
