Catch Cropping This field was a 1 year ley. Silaged in the spring/summer and then a catch crop planted into aftermath. in early Oct we sprayed off and drilled wheat into the still green catch crop. Wheat emerging & a nice mulch to hopefully keep weeds out. @Hutchinsons_Ag

First assessment at our new trial site near Hereford done this morning. Plant counts, any pest/disease, GAI and soil sample taken. All looking good at GS 13-21, drilled 11th Oct. Extase looking more vigorous already, taller but no difference in growth stage. @Hutchinsons_Ag
