Que pasa! Today marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day 🙏 I’ve been thinking a lot about the Evacuation generation, and will be sharing stories from the family archives 📷📚 Here’s a photo of members of my family in London during the WW2 - they were evacuated there in 1940 🚢🇬🇧

Que pasa! Dropped by Witham’s Cemetery earlier, where the Gibraltar Heritage annual painting competition was taking place 🎨 The site has been restored by volunteers, and it was fantastic to see the restored cemetery and cottage🪦🏠 Thanks also to Claire for showing me around the site!

98.97% of Gibraltarians ultimately voted against joint sovereignty in a referendum held on 7th November 2002 🗳️ I remember marching with my family on the day of the demonstration - I was 7 at the time! 🇬🇧🇬🇮 📸 Photos courtesy of Johnny Bugeja 🙏 #llanitohistorydoc #gibraltar
