Our next open day is on Saturday 15th July from 10am until 3pm. Lots to see and do, including a Teddy Bear's Picnic, Classic Car display, train rides and hot food. We will be partnering up with Teddies for Tragedies, a great organisation that provides hand knitted teddies.

Due to the extremely poor weather forecast for tomorrow we have postponed our Teddy Bear's Picnic event & re-arranged it for Sat 12th Aug instead. This decision was made in the interests of health & safety for our all. We hope to see you on the 12th August.

‘The Cab Yard’ is making progress with the simulator project "Heritage Cab Simulators" (The ultimate HST Simulation). Our cab will be fully integrated with simulator software to give a life-like driving experience. It will be at the LMMR & available in the summer of 2024.

We were delighted to welcome Ysgol Carwe, Ponthenri and Gwynfryn to the railway yesterday for a train ride and a history talk in Welsh.

We were very proud to welcome Reception 2 pupils from Ysgol Pontyberem to our railway on Monday 19th February for a chat with us and Network Rail on railway safety and the history of our site as well as a tour of our train. We are delighted that all the pupils enjoyed their visit
