Officially halfway to 50. Another year older & a lot more wiser for it. On the bright side, after 7 months away, I am looking forward to going Racing again at the end of the month. It’s been a nice prolonged period away, but I’ll be a bit active over the Summer months 🤞🏻

For an experienced 4yo now who has run so well in Derby’s & other top level races, Ambiente Friendly pulls like a first time out 2yo. It’s a shame, as the ability is so clear for all to see, but for one reason or another, he’s just not settling & making it hard for his riders

Those two heavy falls in quick succession have clearly left a significant mental scar on Constitution Hill. It’s sad to see. He ran like a horse who looks as though retirement is the best option

Exactly three years ago to this meeting, I first interviewed a very ambitious, intelligent Apprentice who had very high ambitions at such a young age. Fast forward three years & that once former top Apprentice has his first Classic ride. Best of luck to Harry & connections 🤞🏻

An interesting Guineas. I personally think the best horse finished second & I also think that Kieran Shoemark will be kicking himself that he did not let Field Of Gold go earlier. Wimbledon Hawkeye ran well if his next start is to be over further, which I think it should be
