Time is dragging during my driving ban. At midnight it will be 42 days done, 142 days to come. I am pissed off!😩😩

Smokey was in distress this morning so we took him to the vet. Blocked bladder again. He is expected to stay there for about 2 days. At least we know where he is and he is being treated. We couldn't find him anywhere until midnight yesterday.

I've now completed 25% of my driving ban. I need to get over half way before I can begin to see an end to it.

10 years ago today I was diagnosed with stage 2 tongue cancer. I survived but radiotherapy to the mouth is horrific. Now I have Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. It can be managed for a long period but it cannot be cured.

We still don't have broadband on our computer so I am a bit limited in what I can post. Posts without photos are ok but if I want to post photos it is complicated if they are not already on my phone. Impossible to get through to EE.

Smokey is back home & back to his normal self. We've been told to keep him indoors for 2 days but he is not happy about it.

2 photos from last week as the Derbyshire batsmen hit the Kent bowlers to wherever there were no fielders. Kent finished bottom of Division 2 but nobody seems to be very bothered about it. Building g their conference centre seems to be a higher priority.

With luck our broadband should be sorted tomorrow. We had to go into the EE shop to get anything done. Impossible to reach them by phone

Rupert Hollaus (125cc NSU), Dutch TT, 1954. He won the 125cc world title posthumously.

Eric Hinton (250cc NSU), Schleiz, 1958.

Siegfried Schauzu / Wolfgang Kalauch (BMW), 750cc Sidecar TT, 1975. This was the last of his 9 Sidecar TT wins.

Gary Hocking (500cc MV-Agusta) on his way to his final victory in the 1962 Senior TT. He announced his retirement after the TT because of the death of close friend Tom Phillis in the Junior TT. Later in the year Hocking was also killed while competing in a car race in Rhodesia.
