#pubfrontFriday - the White Horse & Griffin, Whitby. Built 1681, it was, prior to the railway, the inn for the London bound stage coaches. Also a place where Cpt Cook recruited his crew. By mid 20thC it was a store. Restored to an inn in 1980s
