BREAKING NEWS The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2023 #NobelPrize in Chemistry to Moungi G. Bawendi, Louis E. Brus and Alexei I. Ekimov “for the discovery and synthesis of quantum dots.”

Congratulations to my PhD advisor Louis Brus on his well deserved Nobel Prize win for the discovery of QDs! A true scientist's scientist, 100% substance and 0% hype, always seeking out important new scientific questions. An inspiration to so many, and a genuinely kind person!
