Make no mistake: the House was adjourned by Secretary of State Simon with no quorum. The actions of the House GOP were illegal and Lisa Demuth is not Speaker.

First GOP claimed that a quorum is 67 because there are only 133 members (40B being vacant). But then their FIRST ACT was to declare a vacancy in 40B, which by their logic should mean that there were 134 members when the "elected" a Speaker, making quorum 68.
