Not often I get to show this quite varied collection of canal linocuts. But at this venue I should have at least 30 of them on show. If you can make it please do. Check their website for opening times etc. #linocut #canal #printmaking Canal & River Trust

I'm on the lookout for a wheelbarrow (or two) for the replica brickworks which are currently being recreated Black Country Living Museum A 'hack-barrow' was once an essential piece of kit for a brick-moulder & were used in the Black Country at Oak Farm brickworks into the 1980s.

This 1920s end-of-terrace on the Tennal Hall housing estate in Quinton, Birmingham is the only house left with its original windows and untouched brickwork. I’ve pondered the significance of this house but should it be listed Municipal Dreams ?

There’s a skip outside a house on MPHT full of original parquet flooring, possibly Douglas Fir. It’s in lovely condition, could be relaid & look beautiful again. I’m frustrated about original materials being thrown into skips everywhere atm - DM if you want to skip raid.

*Parquet update* a tiny group of heritage heroes have spent the last 2 days salvaging the floor for reuse where it is most needed…such madness it was chucked in the 1st place but at least it’s been saved by 3 lovely people 😊

Does anyone have any suggestions to help with Raynaud’s and chilblains? Any special gloves or cream recommendations would be most welcome…I won’t post an image of my grotty fingers 🥶

Nurses' accommodation for the Children's Hospital, Birmingham. Trying to locate where the building was, possibly Francis Road near Five Ways...any ideas?

I'm currently writing about the popularity of brindle bricks during the early C20th through to the 1940s. These lovely bricks were made by the Titford Brick Co. Blackheath & were used on many of the houses on the MPHT estate, Harborne. Do send me your brindle pics please..
