I then got through to what seems like an actual human. He said they need to go into my account to fully investigate my query & it will take some time. Apparently looking at my account will help them to figure out why mismanaging bill payers’ money caused the sewage crisis.

So this ended up being the most pointless conversation during which a representative blamed inflation, the valuation office and my not having a water meter for the price hike, so Thames Water 💧 if you ever decide to hold yourselves accountable I’ll be here. Waiting.
