From today, you can no longer bring a foreign spouse to live in the UK if you earn under £29,000. That excludes, for example, most junior journalists - degree/masters educated professionals.

There needs to me more attention on the UK’s discriminatory foreign spouse visa rules - they make marrying a non-Brit a right only available to those rich enough. That will exclude 70% of the population after further tightening next year.

Sirens are sounding across the whole of Ukraine. Three more ballistic missiles have been fired after this morning’s attack on Kyiv. One has hit Odesa, the other two are said to still be in the air.

Ukraine says the target was its security service, which has an HQ about 5km away.

An apparent terrorist attack at a club/shopping center in Moscow before a performance started. Dozens wounded and dead. There was also an explosion and the building is on fire.

A terror attack seems to be taking place in Moscow.

Another night of massive Russian missile strikes in Ukraine, this time targeting the power infrastructure. DniproHES hydropower station in Zaporizhzhia among those hit. Russia is taking advantage of Republicans in the House cutting off the resupply of air defense interceptors.
