This is what I think, I may be wrong. 1984 Thather introduced a mechanism providing a loophole for wealthy farmers/landowners to avoid inheritance tax. This led to other wealthy individuals such as Dyson & Clarkson spending millions on buying up land. Govt is trying to fix it .

May 30th 1982: Taken on this day, Royal Marines Al Wright, Geordie Gill and Steve Crowden of Recce Troop 40 Cdo somewhere behind the Argentine lines. Geordie Gill couldn't remember where exactly, but somewhere east of Mount Kent and behind the enemy lines was all he could say.

On this day, 43 years ago — June 14, 1982 — the Falklands Conflict came to an end. Today, we remember the 255 British, and 3 Falkland Islander lives lost. To those who fell, we remember you. To those who still bear the weight of that war, we see you. Lest we forget 🫡
