Our new young (rising 2 yo) Droughtmaster herd bull Barni. A handsome unit to be sure, but also quiet and well-mannered, both with his new owners and his new herd. Thanks Jonathan and Melinda at Metemon DM stud. facebook.com/pages/category…

Nice work Klaus & Murray. Hard scratchy work! I hope you've got gas powered splatter guns. My hand/wrist is buggered after 10 litres these days! Curramore is a beautiful area, just 'down the road' from us here Little Bella Nature Refuge.

Always on the lookout for bustards when driving in SW Queensland. The cry of 'Bustards, bustards!' causes the driver to slow, and the bustards, seemingly realising they've been spotted, to simultaneously slowly exist in the opposite direction!

Lots of 'silent' crashing around in the Bolly gum next to the back deck today. Eventually identified the suspects. Multiple Wompoo pigeons.. usually heard rather than seen. Tucking into the tiny fruit with gusto! birdlife.org.au/bird-profile/w…
