I'll never forget the backlash to this from men online adamant that this had nothing to do with rape. ENRAGED at the suggestion it was a metaphor. In hindsight, it reminds me how angry men get when women confront them with the horrors of rape & suggest they should care.

2020: 'Curse You All Men' corset. Inspired by the aesthetics of Black Metal, and my attempt to subvert a genre that is famously hostile towards anyone that doesn't fit the mould of 'cis-het white man'. Spike placement is deliberate, to prevent unwanted touching to the wearer.
