#TBT to 2017 when Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) provided the DCI School with a $5.1M loan for leasehold improvements and construct an addition to one of their school buildings to be able to serve 1,450 DCI students in grades 6 – 12.

There has been a lot of focus on the District’s budget due to an effort in Congress to force the District to cut 1 billion dollars in spending 6 months into the fiscal year. Budgets can be complicated, so to combat confusion I’d like to introduce “The District Budget, 101 pt 1”.



On Tuesday, Jubilee Housing broke ground on King Emmanuel Baptist Church - bringing affordable housing for returning citizens in the heart of DC. This project features an aquaponics farm and workforce model. We proudly supported this project w/ an early-stage acquisition loan!
