More progress in the world of nuclear waste repositories as the UK's Nuclear Waste Services takes another step forward in it's site selection process. This is important work on behalf of future generations, that will spare them the burden of managing waste our generation created. πππ


Fabulous visit in Ignace, Ontario this week - my first since the community was chosen by NWMOCanada as a host for π¨π¦βs deep geological repository for used #nuclear fuel. What a privilege to spend quality time in this gorgeous part of our country.


Great dialogue! Gratifying to see such insightful reflections prompted by NWMOCanada's work with communities to site π¨π¦'s repository for used #nuclear fuel. This might be the 1st major infrastructure project to use such an innovative siting process, but it won't be the last.
