I only had a couple of hours to fish yesterday, and I haven't caught any on the frog for a couple of weeks. So I just took the froggin' setup. So it was topwater or bust. Nothing huge, but a decent Northern is always fun.

This guy hopped off the bank and was staring hard at my frog as it plowed through the duckweed.

Craziest catch of '25. I walked to the water, took the frog off the hook keeper, lowered my rod, and when my frog touched the water between 2 rocks, this little guy exploded on it. No reeling necessary, just lifted out of the water. Probably 6 inches of water.
