On the last day of class Bridget surprised me with a hilarious shirt to sign! I respect the students that go outside their comfort zone and try #apcsp each year! And for the record, she ended with an A! 💻

#apcsp students and I are discussing why a programming language is different than spoken language. Using Legos they had to create a design, write instructions to have someone recreate their design exactly.

And when the logic clicks, and I see their face light up, it is pure magic 🪄

Some of my junior interns are working on special projects during their James F Companion Leadership sessions - today was with members of our Varsity Girls' Basketball Team. They will create some intro videos and social media graphics with their photos soon!

Building off a lesson with Mr Holt, 5th Graders created origami jumping frogs and engineered a basket that would have to stay on as the frogs jumped around and collect Valentine heart messages in STEAM! 🩷🩵🧡Linsly School

AP Computer Science Principles students acted out how a message is actually sent from one user to another, including what could happen along the way - some strong network congestion and software threats made for many dropped packets!
