£11.30 to park at my “local” station. In addition to fares reform, this racket needs to be stamped out. People don’t park at the station because they want to - they do it to catch a train. There is no early/late bus, and when it runs (in the daytime) it’s infrequent and slow

It would be great if we could move forward to an independently regulated, vertically integrated railway without all the simplistic private good/public bad (and vice versa) rhetoric, from all sides.
