Friday (Sept 6): Luncheon in Honor of Kenneth Sherrill and 50 Years of LGBTQ Scholarship, 12-1:30 PM in PCC 203B. Join us for a lunch to honor Ken Sherrill and his legacy. Lunch provided. 9/19

Friday (Sept 6): Our third paper panel of the Mini-Conference, Frontiers in LGBT Politics Research, brings together a diverse group of scholars that study the politics of sexual minorities in a comparative and international relations perspective. PCC 204A, 2-3:30 PM 10/19

Friday (Sept 6): Our second roundtable of the day, the Democracy in the Bedroom roundtable, considers the strengths and limitations of democracy when applied to one specific setting: the bedroom. PCC 204A, 4-5:30 PM 11/19

Saturday (Sept 7): Our first roundtable of the day, Queer Migrations, Queer Movements, considers the politics of queer migration and movements. 10-11:30 AM, PCC 204A 15/19

Saturday (Sept 7): Our second paper panel of the day, Political Homophobia and Resistance, seeks to uncover the mechanisms of political homophobia as well as forms of innovative resistance from contexts outside Euro-America. 12-1:30 AM PCC 204A 16/19

Saturday (Sept 7): Our next paper panel of the day, The Global Backlash to LGBT Rights, outlines the various ways in which groups, movements and other actors have organized and sometimes succeeded in rolling back LGBT rights. PCC 204A, 2-3:30 PM 18/19

Saturday (Sept 7): Finally, the Globalizing the Study of LGBTQ Politics roundtable assesses the state of the literature with regard to attention paid to the LGBTQ politics of the Global South, identify our knowledge gaps, and proposes recommendations. PCC 204A, 4-5:30 PM 18/19
