Our tech and appliances have been throwing huge strops this week and so far I've learnt that a) gas cookers are being phased out?! >.< and b) bluray players now cost a small fortune?!

Really pleased with how neat my pork & spring onion gyoza came out today! ^.^ Do need to start branching out to different recipes though... (I learnt how to make these through an online class with Sozai)

Thought this flash piece had gone out to a few places, nope I sent it once place then forgot about it?!

I have an opening to a story saved, in a very specifically titled word doc, and I can't for the life of me work out where on earth I was going with it, nor can I work out where to take it as that original idea has clearly been lost to the void >.<

Yesterday I was thinking of a piece I submitted that had May-August at the latest decision timeframe, and how I hadn't heard back yet and it might be a good sign... Yeah, I woke up to a rejection email for it this morning >.< (& it's 5k+ so a nightmare to find places for)

On one hand I succeeded in getting student discount (25%!) on my new glasses today,on the other it still cost almost £200 cos I get the thinnest lens thinning available >.< although I did also buy a cheap spare pair and I can't wait to see what my prescription actually looks like

it's supposed to be sunny again towards the end of the week, so I should really take all my print publications outside and get some nice pics for the banner image thingy on my website ^.^

Been a little while since I specifically sat down to write poetry, but I've got little whispers of a poem tugging at the edges just got to get some memories into a more coherent order to make it work ^.^

Yay! Passed this years uni module with a distinction/1st! ^.^ I've always been a solid B/2:1 student so this was unexpected, now to see if I can keep this up for the remaining four years(part time study) of this course ^.^

Finally took a picture of all the books/magazines I've been published in and updated my website header they looked very pretty in the sunshine! ^.^

had some really complimentary rejections the past few weeks ^.^

Asked mam to help me pick an option for one of the trash cat prompts and it won me err gargoyle's?! Time to do some research lol

got my niece and nephew to pick my second set of prompts for trash cat lits prompt thingy so looking forward to working on these ^.^

and after almost eight months of waiting it's a no >.< a well, now to find somewhere that will take a flash piece told from the pov of a house fly...
