Year 3 are having a brilliant day working with The Mersey Forest Manchester Metropolitan Uni Voices of the Future: Child & Youth Treescapes on the Voices of the Future Project. We have been exploring and appreciating the nature and treescapes surrounding us as well as learning about how amazing trees are for our environment.

This afternoon Year 6 celebrated the end of SATS week by cooking up a storm! - The children made salmon en croute, home-made pasta, beef bolognese & vegan bolognese. Jamie Oliver watch out!

Our Reception class have been learning about people in our local community and have had an action-packed week filled with visitors. Thank-you to Wilmslow West and Chorley Police , Wilmslow Fire Station & The Vets' Place for spending time in school this week, we loved learning about how you help us.

Our Year 6 pupils have had a wonderful trip to PGL Schools & Groups Boreatton Park. Thank you to everyone at the centre for making the trip a truly memorable experience for all of our pupils.

On Wednesday 19th June our school community will be taking part in Brake, the road safety charity 'Kids Walk'. We would like to encourage as many of our pupils as possible to walk to school to shout out for their right to make safe and healthy journeys. #wilmslow #kidswalk

On Friday our Year 2 class had a fantastic time being forest explorers at Forest Explorers & Usborne Edge Lane Books. Thanks to the rangers who delivered 2 brilliant workshops about animal habitats and den building. #outdooreducation #wilmslow

Year 1 had a truly fantastic day at Chester Zoo yesterday. We enjoyed exploring the zoo to see the exotic animals. Our 'Amazing Animals' workshop was so interesting - we learnt so much - Thank you!

Our Reception Class had a wonderful trip to Gruff Farm. We met lots of animals and completed some craft activities. Thank you to everyone at Gruff Farm for making our first school trip so memorable!

Our Year 6 Pupils enjoyed a visit to Lindow Moss to install all of our school artwork. The art installations mark the 40th anniversary of the discovery of Lindow Man!

Yesterday, our Year 4 pupils had a brilliant day at Manchester Museum visiting the different collections on display. The highlight for the children was visiting the 'Wild' exhibition and seeing their work on display.

A huge thank you to Izzy from Discover Lindow - Lindow Moss who came to school yesterday to deliver 2 inspiring Science workshops to our Reception and Year 6 classes.

Year 3 have had a wonderful day learning how to care for our sapling woodland. Thanks to everyone at The Mersey Forest and Manchester Metropolitan Uni for leading our workshop today and inspiring us to care for the nature in our school environment. We can't wait for the second workshop next week!
