Deputies and Troopers were busy this morning during their saturation patrol. Their main areas of focus were Harrisburg and Worthing. The amount of stop sign violations they saw was very concerning. Children will be in these intersections tomorrow morning. #stop

~Drug Take Back~ On Saturday, October 26th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office will be at the Harrisburg City Hall at 301 E Willow St. for a DEA Rx Take Back Event. Bring your unwanted pills in for disposal.

~DRUG TAKE BACK RESULTS~ On Saturday Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Terry Anderson was stationed at Harrisburg City Hall taking back old or unwanted medications. He estimated around 10-15 lbs worth of medications were brought in.

~Happy Veterans Day 2019~ To those who have courageously gave their lives and to those who bravely fight today, we say thank you. This is the land of the free because of the brave. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office will be closed today in observance of Veterans Day.

~Road Report~ Roads are wet right now but that’s about it. We have had no reports of crashes. The winds are strong and may end up freezing the roads if the temperature continues to drop. Bridges freeze sooner than the roads so be mindful of that.
