Columbus Grove takes a 7-0 lead on Gavin Baxter’s 85-yard fumble recovery for a score. LCC looked like it might score on a methodical 13-play drive that led to fourth-and-2 from the 8.

LCC quarterback Brady Parker appeared surprised by the snap on the play, which bounced off Parker’s shoulder pads. Baxter scooped it up at the 15 and sprinted downfield untouched. 4:04 left in the first quarter.

Lima Central Catholic pulls within 21-6 with 4:04 left in the first half on Brady Parker’s 3-yard TD run over the right tackle. The T-birds had a nice 31-yard pass over the shoulder to Michael Quatman and a pinball-like run by Lausen Flores, bouncing in and out along right hash.
