So glad I had the opportunity to work with so many of these powerhouses & that I get to count them as role models and mentors. Representation really matters!!

Nothing quite like contemplating upcoming big life changes & the start of residency while at 16,000+ feet in snow, hail, rain, and beating sun in the Andes, but think I can now say I know what claudication feels like…

When I got the call from Dr. Terregino that I had been accepted to @rwjms, I was in the middle of teaching a HS physics class. The rumor quickly spread that I had won the lottery. My bank knows better, but I truly feel like I hit the jackpot by having the chance to become an MD!

Excited to share our case report in JVS-Cases Innovations and Techniques. So glad I had the opportunity to work with Rami Tadros at Mount Sinai Vascular and that I got to be a part of this patient’s care. Learned so much in the process! Way to go Katerina Jou, MD & Tina Choinski!! doi.org/10.1016/j.jvsc…

A haiku inspired by Kenneth Ziegler, MD, FACS, FSVS, RPVI in honor of completing my first week of residency USC Vascular Surgery: Answering pages With “Lily from Vascular” Humbling and thrilling. So excited to have started training and lucky to have the support of the best coresidents as I learn the ropes!

So incredibly lucky to get to learn from this group! Thrilling to hear them present on global surgery, addressing amputation disparities, complex endovascular aortic interventions, rocket science, surgical education, DFUs & so much more. Thank you Kenneth Ziegler, MD, FACS, FSVS, RPVI for organizing!
