In their 5th game at the USJN March to the Arch, Illinois Rockets 17 Blue Star defeated Georgia AEBL, 45-35. Riley Cwinski led the way with 18 pts, while Lily Newton added 10 tallies and 9 RBs. Sofia Corral scored 9 pts and Marley Carbonaro added 6 to go with her 9 RBs.

17 BlueStar triumphed over the Dayton Lady Hoopstars, 60-46, to post a 6-0 record at USJN March to the Arch. Rockets were led by Riley Cwinski, Sofia Corral and Kaidyn King with 18, 14 and 10 points, respectively. Lily Newton 7pts & snagged 8RBs & Brooke Bafia 7pts, 3stl & 3RBs

17 BlueStar went 7-0 at the USJN March to the Arch by defeating the OK Aces, 65-57. They were led by Sofia Corral 17pts, 6asts & Riley Cwinski 14pts, 9RBs. Lily Newton and Kaidyn King scored key buckets, Brooke Bafia, Marley Carbonaro, Sofia O’Sullivan contributed on both ends!

The Illinois Rockets 17 Blue Star played, arguably, their best game of the season as they bested Heart of Illinois, 61-55. Riley Cwinski 21pts, 4 asts, Sofia Corral 16pts, 5 assists, Lily Newton 14 pts. Brooke Bafia 7 pts, 7 RBs and Sofia O’Sullivan 5 RBs and dishing out 3 asts

Sofia Corral had 17 pts, 4 RBs and 2 assists. Riley Cwinski added 10 pts, 3 RBs and 2 assists, while Brooke Bafia tossed in 9 big pts and 6 RBs. Lily Newton had 8 pts, took 2 charges and had 3 steals. Sofia Sullivan added 6 pts and 6 RBs to the winning cause.

After many years of playing travel ball, I played my last game today. My dad coached me for several years at Wizards + ILLINOIS ATTACK before I became a il.rockets.GBB player. It won’t be my stats that I remember, but the friendships & memories I made on the way. WVWBBall
