Mayor of the City of Lilongwe As we quench our thirst with favorite beverages

I am sure that you guys here will be in the forefront of this campaign. You are the people on the ground and observing the people who litter and then blame the council for not cleaning. We are doing our part, so must you. #NameandShame them.

For those that are new here, we have this ongoing campaign. #NameandShame We can't just let chisawawa go on in the city. We are all guardians of this City.

We also have this #CleanandGreenCityChallenge going on. We need you to report garbage and trash in your areas. My team is ready to come and clean. But if the garbage is in your jurisdiction, just clean it.

The mayor has given you the opportunity to, once in your lives, interact with someone of value, to add value to yourselves, your communities and country, but you have turned it to an opportunity to show how very useless you can be. Keep it up. #RIPChilima.

Great developments from MACRA. I am eager to explore with them how we can start implementing smart city models in some parts of Lilongwe by adopting digital technologies in our service delivery. We will have to do 2 ½ year's of work in this one year term.
