2/ We have fed palm fat in the past(palm fat is a granulated solid that is a byproduct of the palm oil extraction process), like alot of animal feed additives it is a byproduct that is created from producing food ingredients for humans

Lesley Chesterman 🇺🇦 K. Palm oil is in a TON of other food and consumer goods- bread, cookies, chips, pizza dough, shampoo, soap etc. Lots of work to make it more sustainable. The palm fat fed to cattle is a byproduct of human use that would have otherwise seen landfill. Cows are great recyclers.

Huh. Dairy is the lowest. Maybe supply management is again proving beneficial for Canadians in a time of trade and economic turmoil? Home grown food supply and processing is a win-win for Canadians.

There is a donation jar at the store for those wishing to help the de Wit family following the farm accident that happened in our community this weekend. (Monetary or gift cards to help with gas, hospital parking, relief farm help and other expenses).
