On Wednesday we celebrated the upcoming Commonwealth Sport with a Commonwealth Sport inspired sports day! We began with an opening ceremony followed by a number of track and field events. All of the children were amazing and we had a fantastic day! ⚽️🏅☀️👏

The rain didn't stop 26 of our KS2 girls enjoy their after school football training last night! We even managed to provide five girls with football boots from last year's generous donations. The water bottles were just as tidy as some of the skills on show!

Next week is Anti-Bullying week, so to highlight and raise awareness for this important event, we will be taking part in Odd Socks Day on Monday 14th November! The children and school staff are able to come to school on this day wearing odd socks to celebrate in a fun way 😀

This week, all of our KS2 children designed their own Stonewall rainbow laces. They began by learning about why rainbow laces, and armbands, are worn and what impact they can have. All of the designs were fantastic and carry an important message! Premier League Lightmoor Primary

Our 1st KS1 cricket session of the day is taking place today Telford & Wrekin Council Tennis Centre. 9 schools participating. Thanks to the young leaders from Charlton School PE and Cricket Shropshire for organising.
