Filix Lighting has supported the 40under40 Awards for many years. “We love to support the #40under40 awards for lighting design - every year we are amazing by the sheer number and variety of entries. The judges really do have a difficult task.” says Marko Jurman from Filix

In 2021, a decision was made not to manufacture a #40under40 trophy but to plant olive trees in the vicinity of the Filix HQ. There is one tree for each winner in order to eventually to create a forest with each tree representing an outstanding individual.
