On May 11th 2019 the #LightCoce project was presented at the 6th International Conference “ENERGY in BUILDINGS – Northern Hellas”, organised by the ASHRAE Hellenic Chapter in collaboration with the Technical Chamber of Greece. #H2020 #Europe #energy #buildings

The #LightCoce project is holding its 1st plenary meeting in Castellon, Spain. This workshop, organised and hosted by ITC-AICE & #NTUA, includes a visit to the KERABEN facilities. The consortium will discuss the progresses made in the active work packages and the next key steps.

50 representatives from 9 European countries met at ITC on June 27 and 28. Thanks to this project, several pilot plants and laboratories of different characteristics will be joined together for development of new products for construction, lighter and with new functionalities.

Paolo Colombo attended the 13th Pacific Rim Conference (PACRIM13), Oct 27, 2019 - Nov 1, 2019, Okinawa, Japan. In particular, he attended Symposium 31 (Porous Ceramics: From Innovative Processing to Advanced Applications and Functionalities), of which he was also co-organizer.

RISE Research Institutes of Sweden in collaboration with NUOVA TESI SYSTEM S.R.L. has developed a fully mineral (including insulation) load-bearing lightweight concrete sandwich panel within the #LightCoce Project. The panel will be placed in an existing building as a showcase.
