I resonate with so much of this, especially being able to speak in front of a lot of people but I don’t like people looking at me in other situations, including public attention on my birthday (but okay with people saying it personally to me πŸ˜‰)

Trailing the β€˜flippies’ from Ann Sullivan Phonics for SEN (and D) with some of our students. These have been fun to make 😊 These offer a sensory activity to improve on student’s blending skills when moving on from CVC into adjacent consonants and digraphs. I have also made these for simple CVC words.

Incredible opportunities to join our new, vibrant and growing school. Please share for any general teachers, special education teachers, and early education (kinder) teachers to apply for. This is too good of an opportunity to miss!

THIS!!!! So so true! I got a new child week 6 term 3. With all kinds of diagnosis. Violent in old school. Not in class b/c of throwing things at others. I was worried. Settled in amazingly in my class with structure and routines, my high expectations! Don't underestimate these 1/

Many teachers are working hard to implement Cold Call. Executed well, it's a thing of beauty, but increasingly I think schools should prioritise implementing a core set of all-student response techniques (e.g. Mini Whiteboards). Here's why I think they should come first. (1/10)
