I know Victorians like to think of themselves as open-minded and welcoming, but I've never lived in a place where the "go back where you came from" sentiment is as strong (yes, even Edmonton and Montreal).

Truly sad someone would actually say this... I wasn’t born in Victoria but I feel more at home here then anywhere else in the world and I have traveled a lot. I resonate with Victoria and I respect and admire what we are blessed with.
