What's an opinion you hold in 2025 that seemed impossible to publicly share in 2022?

I'm all out of shock-horror from the bus stabbing a few days ago. I'm more focused on the psychopaths celebrating the Charlie Kirk shooting, because there is a lot of it. Way too much.

On one hand, I don't support doxing or canceling, people getting their livelihoods ruined for the things they post online is too volatile. On the other hand, these are the terms the left drew and played by for years. Can I really be mad that the playing field's finally even?

I'm primarily known as the anti-Bridget-retcon user. That alone was enough for radicalized trans groups on Reddit/Discord to raid/harass/threaten me. This was back in 2022 when it was most heated. Turns out, these same groups look to have coordinated an actual assassination. Hm.

You can define an extremist on the right pretty easily. I had a hard time defining what an extremist on the left looks like, because it seems like even the most insane people are embraced by Liberal parties worldwide. Right-wingers don't endorse their extremists too easily.

I'm trying to make sense of how we got here. Lefties are the most closed-minded people I've ever seen, but I was literally introduced into leftism with the idea of being open-minded. It has completely flipped. Quotes/Data/Context all don't matter anymore. I don't get it.

I'm starting to realize that even Charlie Kirk's assassination, which should have been a go-signal to start doing things, means absolutely nothing. Antifa is a terrorist org I guess. Whatever that means. And now we're all sleuthing about tylenol while more radprogs shoot people.

I know Reggie's shoes were going to be impossible to fill, but wow that Bowser guy didn't do fucking anything at all.

Hasan has deserved a permanent suspension for a while. It's not going to happen. The CEO has been very clear with all the non-action in the past: this guy can do whatever he wants on the platform. Every controversy comes and goes, this one will too. It shouldn't, but will.

This is still going on. He could just say "I shocked the dog sorry it won't happen again" but instead we're PirateSoftware. Nepo Californians really are on another level.
