I still don't perceive the government "shutdown." They're still taking money out of my paycheck and the federal government does nothing of value for my benefit. Quite the opposite, actually.

This is 16-year-old Meya from Sweden. She was attacked and raped on her way home from work by an Eritrean man named Yazied Mohamed. She had to see the rapist again at school - why? He will not be deported because – wait for it – the rape "DID NOT LAST LONG ENOUGH". What does

True. My salary, in dollars, is lower than it was 20 years ago. In that 20 year period the purchasing power of that dollar fell by half. I remember the days when I was lauded for having a CS degree. I'm basically a poor now. Thanks, Democrats and Bush Republicans!

I watched the new Superman movie last night. It was actually pretty good. Bummer it didn't do well at the theater. I thought the Lanterns would be portrayed as bad guys, or maybe anti-heroes, but they were legit good guys, who Superman apparently knew well.

Its wild to me how effortlessly AI skeptics dismiss the coming AI apocalypse. They'll find the smallest flaw in a first generation system and declare the whole thing a failure. That's nonsense.

I don't agree with Pat Buchanan on everything, although I do a lot. But I've always been a huge fan, since I was a teenager and watched him and Kinsley on "Crossfire" in the 90's. He's always struck me as smart and well informed.

Boomers created a $38 trillion national debt, endless foreign wars, de-industrialization, unlimited immigration, and strict land use controls, all to get rich and virtue signal while creating palatial estates for themselves in their final years. Boomers are the worst.

Musk is correct here, this is a core issue and can only be remedied by an aggressive reaction that is likely already too late to pursue. I see this crap every day. America is doomed.

This is the attitude I've come to expect from "big-L" Libertarians, and a reminder why the LP is such a abject failure. They're in love with the libertarian fantasy, but not interested in creating that reality, just making noise on social media.

I spent time working with AI on Sunday to generate code for personal project I'm working on. Most people still have no idea what's going to hit. AI still needs a knowledgable engineer for this use case, but soon, very soon, it won't even need that.

The Boomer mentality. They really think things are just as there were 20-30 years ago, and that younger generations are incompetent. They are completely unaware of what they have done. And yes, its the Boomers fault.

This dumb boomer thinks $1,500 is an outrageous price. But in 1985, adjusted for inflation, that was $500. Yet boomers all had TVs, VCRs and many had computers, the equivalent of $4,500 today. How many adults today have replaced all three, and more, with their one smartphone?
