What I love about Twitter 👇 It's a thought-first platform. i.e. it's a place where ideas can compete without the noise and ego of image-first networks like Tiktok. I think this is why people seem to connect more authentically here. You're here too. What do you love about it?

I had an issue a few years ago. I was in denial about it. I guess I was hoping it would go away. But then I accepted it and something weird happened - I felt empowered. Because now I could *do* something about it. I learned that speeding through acceptance is critical in life.

Are you curious or committed? The answer to that question should give you a strong indication of whether your current/next project will succeed or fail. Again: are you curious? Or committed?

Marketing 101: stay on topic. If you subscribe to a car magazine and they start sending you stuff about gardening, you’d unsubscribe. If you really want growth, honor those people who’ve opted into your content by staying on topic.

I’ve been a loser 🥹 But I've also been a winner. I believe we all have both inside of us. As solopreneurs and startup founders, we have a duty to cultivate an internal narrative of optimism, belief & grit to override any self-defeating negativity. Only then can we win IRL.

Self-criticism is toxic ☢️ It sabotages success before you achieve it. Continually recognizing your wins is like throwing logs into the fire of motivation - it’s a vital habit which sustains you through the solopreneur journey. Take stock of your wins regularly 🔥

Put the work in and get the growth. Or don’t, and don’t. Pretty simple.

Inside your comfort zone: Stagnation 📉 Outside your comfort zone: Growth 📈 It's ok to spend time inside sometimes. Just make sure you’re outside enough too.

Today's decisions + Yesterday's + Last week's + Last month's + Last year's = Life Each one might seem insignificant, but they all add up to create the big picture that is our life. They directly impact our outcomes. Priority: align those daily decisions with target outcomes.

Marketing is selling someone a future version of themselves.

Be your own boss. In work. In health. In life. If you don’t, someone or something will absolutely do that job for you. And you’ll be left taking care of someone else’s interests - not your own.

I remember coming to the slow realization that nobody else is going to look out for me... like me. Leaving it to others is more risky than we might like to think. It's up to each of us to take complete ownership of our own future. Only then can we truly get to work on it.

One thing time has taught me is this: 👉 Invest in the inevitable Things which will be here years from now which have huge growth potential. Examples: • You • Your family • EVs ($TSLA) • Twitter What's inevitable for you that you'll be investing your time & cash into?

You ever felt burnt out or overwhelmed? There’s a time for going all out and doing 80+ hour weeks. But pace and perspective are key pillars of stability to sustain you through the journey. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Slow & steady wins the race.

Yet another reason why Twitter is a platform worth investing your time and effort into.
