Our head of external consultancy, Marcus Ryder, is at Edinburgh TV Festival discussing crisis facing freelancers in UK Film & TV sector. At the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity we’re determined that diversity is at the centre of these debates because workers from underrepresented groups are most vulnerable.

Bit of a strange day for us at Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity as it’s Marcus Ryder ‘s last one with us. We’ll miss him. But he’s not going without a few reflections. Please do have a read bcu.ac.uk/media/research…

Today is my last day at the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity and I am feeling a little emotional. It has been an amazing adventure and I believe we created something which is quite unique. Please read my final blog post for the Centre and what I believe we accomplished. bcu.ac.uk/media/research…

Over 3 years the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity has proved why the UK media industry needs to fund an independent body on diversity & inclusion. It's in everybody's interest. In my last blog as Head of External Consultancies for Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity I explain why. "WE BUILT IT, THEY CAME" bcu.ac.uk/media/research…

Our Head of External Consultancies, and one of the founding members of the centre, Marcus Ryder, is leaving today. Things won’t be the same without you, but thank you for helping to build a strong foundation that we will continue to build on. bcu.ac.uk/media/research…

It's fantastic news that my former colleagues at the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity have been picked to review the BBC's much publicised £100m+ diversity fund.
