Eva is one of 12,080 beneficiaries of the #emergency cash transfer programme for families affected by #floods supported by UNICEF Kenya. Working w/NDMA Kenya & Social Protection and Senior Citizen affairs in partnership w/UK in Kenya 🇬🇧🇰🇪 to protect children and vulnerable from climate shocks, build resilience.
Families affected by the ongoing floods redeem their e-vouchers. Thanks to support from Norad, UNICEF Kenya working with World Vision Kenya NDMA Kenya Garissa County Gvt. has provided cash transfers to over 600 households. Families displaced by the floods are being hosted in IDP camps.
