Together with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and many other universities in Madrid, we are meeting today with the president of the EIC Mr. Michiel Scheffer on how to improve the EIC programs. I'm here to provide my experience as coordinator in ASTOUND and as participant in Awareness Inside EU.

This week I have been attending IWSDS2025 in Bilbao, Spain. An event supported by ASTOUND and #EICAwarenessInside. More than 60 participants and 40 papers on Spoken Dialogue Systems. My research group contributes with 3 papers. Check them on ACL Anthology.

Yesterday and today I'm attending a course on cybersecurity organized by ENISA. Really insightful the implications & challenges for AI and companies to implement secure systems protocols at different levels, including LLMs as the ones developed by ASTOUND.

Today learning more on entrepreneurship on AI-based technologies at #IEN (Industriales Escuela de Negocios) thanks to Actúa UPM and as part of the transfer and innovation activities we do for the ASTOUND.
