An early morning visit to Formentor #Mallorca saw a stunning sun rise and Crag Martins performing really well. And later at the Depruadora S'illot a Gull-billed Tern flew over and a flock of 40+ Bee-eaters

Up in the mountains of Mallorca today stunning scenery and great big birds as well. A Lesser Emperor was hawking a small pool.

Kingsdown to Langdon Hole today saw 2 Whinchats and Wheatear at Bockhill Farm, Garden Warbler at South Foreland lighthouse, another Whinchat at Fan Bay and a single Lesser Whitethroat in Langdon Hole. KOS

I was disappointed to miss yesterday's 9 Cattle Egrets at Bough Beech as would of been a patch tick, so was happy when 5 turned up this afternoon also the Great Egret was still showing also 2 Green and 2 Common Sandpipers and 5 Snipe

12 Brent Geese high south over Bough Beech this morning, a welcome patch tick. Also noted 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Water Rail, 1 Green Sand, 7 Snipe and 4 red head Goosander KOS BirdGuides

Fantastic couple of days birding Bough Beech with this morning 2 Hawfinch east, Osprey & a female Gos. Yesterday 5 Woodlark east & a Water Pipit lots of winter thrushes & Starlings passing overhead, 2 Brambling, 15 Snipe, drake Pintail and Green Sand BirdGuides KOS

With water levels rising on the North Lake at Bough Beech the Snipe are being pushed up towards the bank and amongst 33 Common Snipe was a single Jack Snipe. KOS BirdGuides
