After 3 yrs, the Vic Labor govt hasn't implemented ANY of the 19 recommendations they accepted in the Rozen Inquiry into workers' comp - including legislating a basic "Code of Injured Workers' Rights." Their inaction insults vulnerable injured workers.#springst

On the grass outside Victoria’s largest prison today. PPP is privately owned, run by multinational G4S. A Kennett legacy from days long gone. Not surprising the private company shifts its profits o/s to it’s parent. We reckon the workers deserve a fair share #springst

Jacinta Allan While nurses and midwives certainly deserve recognition, singling them out raises questions. What about public servants/sector workers? You're not reading the room.

Sonja Terpstra MP 🐓 Hmmmm yes and wasn’t it you that attack workers by voting for the WorkCover Modernisation Scheme, without any comprehension or understanding that it harmed workers? 🙄

83% of injured workers have lost their income. Imagine the stress of being injured at work, only to have no future income coming in. They won’t get the dole or a disability pension. Workers will lose their homes. This is wrong #springst theage.com.au/politics/victo…

The March 2024 WorkCover changes built a $380M surplus by throwing injured workers off the system after 130 weeks and rejecting mental injury claims. They cut off payments unless workers prove a 20.1% impairment & zero capacity for work, leaving workers without help. #springst
