It’s a simplistic philosophy, an unfortunate fad in Utah politics. My family cannot use surplus to save the Great Salt Lake. It cannot build mass transit, fight wildfire, clean the air, educate the populace, staff the courts, or provide mental health crisis services.

In the long run, the work to stop traffic violence in SLC will require some form of automated traffic enforcement (aka photo cop). We are energized by Jerry W. Stevenson and encourage the Utah Senate to vote yes on SB105, which trials photo cop in school and construction zones.
