UDOT cites “human error” as the contributing factor in 94% of crashes. But Sweet Streets’s co-founder says roadway designs are more responsible for the dangerous conditions. buff.ly/3Xj00Mv

In the long run, the work to stop traffic violence in SLC will require some form of automated traffic enforcement (aka photo cop). We are energized by Jerry W. Stevenson and encourage the Utah Senate to vote yes on SB105, which trials photo cop in school and construction zones.

A great day with good people. The Sweet Streets board did our annual planning mtg on Saturday. (Thank you Work Hive SLC for hosting us!) We're focused and ready to work more with our supporters. Expect to hear from us more and see more opportunities to get involved! 💪

Walking around I've been noticing new lead pedestrian intervals (LPI) at different intersections. Good work SLC Transportation, Engineering, & Streets 🌳🚶♂️Jon Larsen 🚲🌳 Mayor Erin Mendenhall . Let's keep it up. #slc

Good news coming out of the #utleg. Congrats to Jerry W. Stevenson. Automated speed enforcement will play a critical role in keeping people safe on the streets of Utah. Rep. Andrew Stoddard let's make it happen in the house. x.com/SweetStreetsSL…

In the #slc fight for abundant housing, the road often goes through the Salt Lake City Council. Next week they'll vote if ADUs must be owner-occupied. This should be loosened, so that any resident in SLC can live in any ADU. Speak up! [email protected] [email protected]

TFW Spencer Cox is taking the right stand on housing and Salt Lake City Council is playing catch-up. Current SLC zoning gates off most our city from multi-family housing and desperately needs to change. x.com/SpencerJCox/st…
