Studying #GHGemissions from #SoilAquiferTreatment at #Shafdan, we need a system to measure fluxes in ponding and drying soils. Our PhD student, Fatima- zahra, tested a DIY floating flux chamber and validated it against a customized floating LICOR chamber.

This semester, we launched EnviroTech – Do-It-Yourself Sensors for Research! A course designed to equip students with theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to build their own sensor systems. Here are some pics of our students trying soldering for the first time!
