Hello #PathTwitter. I’m new here so I wanted to introduce myself. I’m the medical education coordinator for the UVA Pathology program, but I want to be a resource for all.

#PathMatch2023 applicants, don’t be afraid to change your opinion of a program after interviewing, even if you thought you’d love it. You get good insight into the program during the interview so take advantage of that! You don’t want to end up somewhere you don’t like.

I love getting to coordinate the residency interviews. Everybody is so sincere and I love interacting with the applicants.

I thoroughly enjoyed planning the UVA Pathology Secret Snowperson and Winter Get-Together. It’s so nice to see everyone outside of the normal work mode. Mental well-being and fun is just as important as those hours behind the microscope.

Shout out to Anne Mills and Sara Zadeh, MD for keeping me laughing even during a work meeting today!
