.Instagram deleted my account & its community of 175,000 smart, funny people for reasons that are incredibly murky. Critiques of Christian Nationalism and the like are needed now more than ever! If you'd like to see my account restored, please retweet & share on your IG. Thanks!

A reminder that the Biblical stories are no more credible than the Book of Mormon or the Quran. A spirit/Angel/deity revealed “the truth” to a prophet. Only difference is that the authors for many books of the Bible are completely anonymous.

1. Posts terrible rap video making fun of trans people and the LGBTQ community 2. Gets dragged for being an awful human 3. “I’m persecuted! Just like Jesus said!”

- The Romans rarely buried someone that was crucified, instead leaving the corpse to rot on the cross - The Resurrection wasn’t recorded for 30+ years in the gospels - The resurrection stories contradict one another The “natural” explanation is that it didn’t happen.

This is a major tactic among Christian nationalists: rally the masses with simplistic applause lines. Town halls like this are an empty calorie feast for those defending their privileged head seat at the American table.

Look at this evolutionist drivel at my local kids museum Creationist Misconceptions Mary Anning was planting dino “fossils” and part of the Darwin cult at just 12 years old.

My timeline won’t update. My bookmarks don’t even populate because I’ve “exceeded” the rate of something… Not sure if this is a bug or a purposeful targeting of accounts without verified blue checks, but I think my time on Twitter may be about over. This app is close to useless

Yeah…this is probably the end. Sorry guys. It was fun for a while but this is *literally the opposite* of free speech. Twitter is now a pay to participate platform overwhelmed by miserable accounts. Sad that a fun app has turned into this.

Homosexuality was so inconsequential to biblical authors it didn’t even make it into the Ten Commandments. Know what did? “Thou shalt not bear false witness” apnews.com/article/suprem…

15 hours and this fake quote is still up. Christian Nationalists' identity depends on deliberately spreading disinformation about American history, especially the founders and the founding.

So, to sum up: 1.) Dude wants to see proof that speciation occurs. 2.) Seeing speciation isn't enough for him, because those new species are still part of the same "kind." 3.) He says "species" and "kind" are synonyms.

Imagine buying Twitter and not understanding why the block function exists. “Sorry, National Holocaust Museum, you can mute the Nazis spamming your page but unfortunately everyone will have to just wade through their nonsense every time you post unless they mute them, too”

TW: falsely associating LGBTQIA people with child predators. I feel obligated, as a child protection professional, to point out that this response by Babylon Bee editor Joel Berry to Matt Nightingale is trying to keep the faith. is wildly untrue. It's not only untrue, it's a dangerous lie.

The Christian God needs money for his ministry. He wants his followers to be rich so they can spread the word and repair this broken world. The Christian god—how they view him—is so powerless and small.

🧵So I finally got some time over the weekend to start watching the infamous "Leo & Layla's History Adventures" made by PragerU. They're Republican propaganda, but they're also religious brainwashing, telling kids that obvious mythical Bible figures like Esther & David existed.
