Yesterday our most recent group of trainee interpreters came to the end of their First Steps to Public Interpreting course. It was great to hear their positive feedback. We are very grateful to have been awarded a Volunteering Wales Main Grant, funded by Welsh Government & administered by WCVA | CGGC. This will allow us to create new volunteering opportunities for our trainee interpreters to put their language skills into practice. Exciting times!

Yesterday, existing members of Let's Interpret gave a warm welcome to our new group of trainee interpreters. Most of our training takes place online so it's always great to be able to meet in person. The Volunteering Wales Main Grant is enabling us to do this more often WCVA | CGGC

A great interpreting skills workshop today! Our members were able to meet fellow interpreters, test their skills through role play and learn from each other's experiences. Last week staff from CCAWS and Displaced People in Action attended our training session on best practice when working with interpreters. An extremely useful session, made possible by the Volunteering Wales main grant @WCVA. Get in touch if you'd be interested in attending it in the new year.
